Himalaya Yoga Valley yoga teacher training centre is located in a small community in the north of goa near the quiet Mandrem beach surrounded by the jungle and coconut trees. The core value of the centre is to “Honor the source” and a strong focus is placed on physical adjustments in order to improve alignment through a precise, yet dynamic practice. The centre also has an onsite Ayurveda spa where you can avail traditional ayurvedic treatments. To make the place safe the centre has round the clock security and 24 CCTV throughout the site. Himalaya Yoga Valley was founded by Yogacharya Lalit in 2002 in Dharamsala and later grew its branches to Goa and Ireland. He has been teaching for more than 15 years and has taught more than 2000 yoga teachers.

Trainees and retreat attendees stay onsite in the newly constructed villas. Every villa is two-stories and has a large, comfortable living room to relax in where you are welcome to relax or sit down and enjoy a chat. Through the living room, you will also have access to the outdoor seating area. Each room receives a serene natural light through a range of large windows or open-air balconies. Himalaya Yoga Valley has its own onsite restaurant "Kaisa". The menu at Himalaya Yoga Valley changes multiple times throughout the year to prioritise local and seasonal produce and include vegan and gluten-free options. Rest easy knowing the kitchen operates with exceptionally high standards for cleanliness and all of their produce is washed twice in an all-natural antibacterial solution.
Breakfast - It changes daily, but you will always have access to fresh fruit, Poha (a traditional Indian flat rice), fresh Goan bread, filtered coffee, chai and a ginger lemon jaggery. Himalaya Yoga Valley Goa also has an espresso machine serving freshly roasted Blue Tokai coffee, sourced from the Malabar region of India.
Daily breakfast rotates between: Free-range scrambled eggs, Tofu scramble, Chickpea scramble, Muesli and yoghurt, Bircher muesli
Lunch- The menu lets you choose between a delicious variety daily. The menu has multiple filling vegan and gluten-free options to choose between.
Some in house favourites include: Vietnamese rice paper rolls, Brie and apple panini, Asian salad with peanut sauce, Quinoa + miso buddha bowl, Labneh plate
Dinner - The dinner options change every day and always include a western option, a traditional Indian curry, and fresh salads.
Some of the guest favourites include: Taco night, Channa Masala, Spinach and feta black bean burger, Gnocchi, Dahl fry
Drinks - Kaisa has an extensive drink menu in order to keep you well hydrated and feeling refreshed. The cold drinks range from delicious cranberry soda, a lemon soda (salty or sweet), a range of smoothies, as well as traditional Indian lassi. Hot drinks are also available, with everything from coffee or chai to warming freshly grated ginger lemon tea.
Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre is located in a small local community in Mandrem Beach, North Goa. Mandrem is a traditional area surrounded by lots of beautiful jungle and hosts a peaceful stretch of beach. Himalaya Yoga Valley happily arranges collection for students from the airport with local drivers from Mandrem who are well known to the standard fixed taxi rates. Trainees can also get taxis at the government taxi rank at the airport. The centre is approximately 90 minutes from Goa’s main airport and 2 hours from the main station Madgaon.
